Avinash Bindiganavile

...his greatest ambition was to score a goal - not rule the world.

Fortune smiles

Last Saturday there was a Convention of Aviatur. It was an event where all the products/services and various verticals of my company were showcased for us and also celebrating 50 years of Aviatur.Though I couldn't make it to visit the various stalls I had a blast being there for the closing cermony.

The closing cermony had began in the presence of the Mr.Bessudo(President),followed by announcing some major achievements. There have been more than 1 million reservations made through Aviatur in the past year.Later the people who have been working with Aviatur from several years were honored. To my surprise,I had seen about 50 people working since 10 years,20+ people working since 20 years,15+ people since 25 years,10 people since 30 years and one woman has been working since 43 years(i.e.almost since the company started and I guess since she started her career as well) Now can you believe that? I was dumbstruck.

Anyway,I had the privilege to have a chat with the President for few minutes.Once again, this conversation turned out to be very fruitful for me.After this conversation with him I felt as if "Opportunities are knocking my door." Now,I don't wanna really let you know about that but believe me they are really "Knock-Knock-Knockin' on my door." Yipee!

After the awards night it was time for some entertainment. There were some spectacular Tango performances, traditional local music groups etc and it was an awe-inspiring sight. This was the first time I had seen an Argetine Tango characterized by "passionate hold and complex leg and foot movements" of surpassing excellence.I was like Whoa! How on earth are they doing that with so much ease?" Really jaw-dropping.

Honestly,I'm really proud and lucky to be associated with such a wonderful company in such a beautiful country.

PS: Will try to upload some pictures but can't promise because I'm having some problems in doing it.

Encouraging and Soothing!

Pay attention to the things you love

And pay attention equally to the work you don't love

Start tracking what gives you energy and what doesn't

And that will help guide you

I have never paid attention to where my career is going

I just do good work and then good things happen

When I hit an obstacle - I'm honest about it

People appreciate that

Be honest too when you make a mistake

There is no great career for anyone without mistakes along the way

I ask for help and guidance when i need it

Karma:

It is the manifestation of energy - one way or the other

If you put the right effort in the right things happen

Doesn't mean that things turn out exactly the way you want

But they usually do turn out just right

Advice:

Just do what you have right in front of you

Don't worry about the future

One - worrying never solves anything

It just makes you feel bad

And two - the future isn't here

And for the stuff you have right in front of you

Do the very best job you can.

PS: These words said by my friend will always encourage me in whatever I do. Thank you Stephanie.
